The City of Lafayette is seeking public feedback on the parks designs. Even one word comments are welcome, and take less than one minute!!

$25,000 Grant from Community Foundation of Lafayette
All Ages Recreation Downtown (AARD) is honored, grateful, and thrilled to be chosen for the Community Foundation's first 25th Anniversary Grant for "a unique project or program that has lasting impact on the local Lafayette community."

Lafayette Juniors Chooses AARD as 1 of 3 Beneficiaries for 2025
Lafayette Juniors is raising funds for all ages to play downtown! AARD is 1 of 3 beneficiaries of their 2024/2025 fundraising.

The Lafayette Juniors Annual Lifestyle Tour is one of Lamorinda’s most beloved events (for over 20 years!) and Lafayette Juniors' largest fundraiser. This self-guided tour features beautiful Lafayette homes with masterfully designed, unique and awe-inspiring indoor and outdoor spaces.

City Council Approved Funding Match for 2025/2026!
On Feb. 24, 2025, City Council agreed to match funds for the 2025/2026 Fiscal Year!
Dollars donated up to $50,000 will be matched!
Plus, if you donate through your employer's matching program (like Benevity), your donation could triple (or more!) in impact towards adding all ages recreation programs and destinations to downtown Lafayette!

Acalanes '24 grad (AARD co-founder) awarded Princeton Univ. full-time fellowship to host free downtown summer recreation events & raise funds for 2 new all-abilities play areas near downtown Lafayette.

We are a nonprofit public benefit corporation dedicated to adding all ages recreation destinations and programs in or near downtown Lafayette, California. Higher density areas traditionally have less access to green spaces and no-cost recreation. When our community plays together, we all are enriched in spirit and health. Please join us in our efforts, great and small!

All Ages Recreation Downtown was founded in 2023 by a group of Lafayette community members who recognized the need for a local organization dedicated to funding more downtown recreation options for all ages. We are currently funding new destinations and pop-up programs throughout downtown.

Our team is made up of dedicated volunteers who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of those we serve. We represent a wide variety of ages and backgrounds, and value the wisdom of decades-long residents as well as fresh ideas from new neighbors and businesses.

We work with the City of Lafayette, Community Foundation of Lafayette, Lafayette Juniors, Town Hall Theatre, Lafayette Chamber of Commerce, Lamorinda Moms, Lafayette Rotary, Lamorinda Sunrise Rotary, and a wide variety of local businesses to provide the best possible collaborative support and insights for programs. These valuable relationships help us extend our reach and impact.
